These terms apply to the Versiclo app and the versiclo.com website. By using the app, you agree to them.

The service

Versiclo lets you read the Bible for free, one verse at a time. Some study features (dictionary, cross-references, explanations and comments) are part of the Premium plan, a paid subscription.

Your account

To like verses, save favorites and use Premium, you need an account with accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your password safe. You can delete your account at any time in Settings.

Premium subscription

• The subscription is purchased and billed through the App Store or Google Play, depending on your device.
• The price and period are shown in the app before you buy.
• It renews automatically until you cancel it in the store's subscription settings. Cancellation takes effect from the next period.
• Refunds follow Apple's or Google's rules.
• We may change the plan's features; price changes will be announced before they apply to you.

Comments and community

You are responsible for what you post. The following are not allowed:

• insults, discrimination, hate speech or harassment;
• sexual, violent or illegal content;
• spam, advertising or scams;
• other people's personal data.

Comments with inappropriate words are blocked automatically, and comments reported by several people are hidden until reviewed. We may remove content and suspend accounts that break these terms. By posting, you allow us to show your comment in the app; it is deleted when you delete it or your account.

Explanations by artificial intelligence

Verse explanations are generated automatically by artificial intelligence and may contain mistakes or inaccuracies. They are not a substitute for studying the Bible or for pastoral or academic guidance. If you find a mistake, use the "Report a mistake" option in the app.

Texts and content

The Bible translations in the app are in the public domain. The dictionary comes from Wiktionary (CC BY-SA license) and the cross-references from OpenBible.info (CC BY license). The Versiclo name, design and software belong to us.

Prohibited use

You may not copy or modify the app's software, extract data in bulk, bypass payment for Premium features or overload our services.

Availability and liability

We work to keep the service available, but it may be interrupted, changed or discontinued. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits the rights you have as a consumer.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.

Changes and contact

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top and let you know in the app when the change is significant. Questions: contato@versiclo.com.
